MASH
Hertfordshire MASH is a partnership of agencies, (Hertfordshire County Council, health, police and probation) co-located, that have a statutory duty to safeguard children and who have agreed to work within an integrated team to improve decision-making whenever there are concerns about a child. Within the MASH teams, there are opportunities for specialist adolescent workers.
Early Help Triage
The overarching purpose of Families First Triage is to improve outcomes for children and families in Hertfordshire, who require support outside of statutory child in need and child protection processes. Focusing on those with targeted and intensive support needs at the earliest opportunity. Families First Triage is a whole system, multi-agency response to supporting family outcomes at a local level, by bringing together organisations who provide early help services under one “umbrella” of consistent practice and clearer processes, ensuring children and families receive support from the right service at the right time.
